About Us

Our staff & volunteers

Our board members come from all walks of life in both the private sector and members of the U.S. Armed Forces to offer wholistic and well-rounded perspectives. They are dedicated to the mission, and most importantly respected and admired Nick and the values for which he stood.

Our history

On June 8, 2022, five holes were left in the Marine Corps when we lost the crew of Swift-11 in an MV-22B training exercise in Holtville, CA. This foundation not only serves to honor the legacy of Capt Nicholas "Sloppy" Losapio, but all of the crew members on board:

Capt John J Sax

Cpl Seth D. Rasmuson

Cpl Nathan E. Carlson

LCpl Evan A. Strickland

Our mission

We are dedicated to post mishap support with an emphasis on supporting all significant others of service members killed in action or the line of duty.

Non-married partners don't rate the title Gold Star Spouse, but we are determined to provide resources and support in the aftermath of your loss.
